Standard Posterior Hip Replacement

This is carried out when Anterior Minimally Invasive Surgery is not feasible. These conditions include Hip Dysplasia, Congenital Dislocation of the hip, Revision hip Surgery where access to the hip is best achieved through a traditional Posterior approach as this can be extended if required. All patients with this approach still go through our Enhanced Recovery Program and mobilize upto 4 hours after surgery.
